Living in or near The Villages, Florida is by far the best active retirement destination in Florida. The Villages is not a gated retirement community, but rather contigous special purpose municipalities called Community Development Districts (CDDs). Moreover, Stonecresters can live the lifestyle of the average Villager in a comparable home in Stonecrest for substantial less money.

Stonecrest Property Owners Association (POA) Fee is $145 per month that includes infrastructure operation and maintenance, trash collection, exercise facility, heated indoor pool, and 24/7 gated security; recreation and commercial amenities that are not available in The Villages, or provided for an additional fee.
